Books and Bookmarks
I'm an avid reader...there, I said it!!! Of course, there's nothing to be ashamed of except I tended to hoard books and find them hard to part with. I've been better, lately. I will loan books and not demand their return. I will even give books away and have donated dozens to the literacy association. Aren't I a good girl?! The one thing I will NOT do is turn down pages. UGH!!! I've made regular strip bookmarks for a long time and now have a new item that is pretty clever. It's a paper based magnetic bookmark. It doesn't mar the pages and you can even put it on the side of a page to mark a sentence or paragraph. Pretty cool, I think!

I ♥ Lobster!
I've written about my love for lobster before but when I calculated last week that it's been waaaaaaay over a year since I had one, I was sad. DH kept asking THAT question..."What do you want for Valentine's Day?" and "LOBSTER" screamed from my lips. Now to me, it's not worth bothering with if it's under 2 lbs. so I set out on a mission today to find some for dinner and did! I know my gift is not something to wear. Not something to show off. Not something I need (well, maybe!) and it's not something I will keep forever (maybe on my hips?)
BUT it is something I love from the one I love....and that's what it's all about. Happy ♥ Day to everyone! Is it dinnertime yet?

One World, One Heart
After over 200 posts/requests, Sandi from The Victorian Gypsy is the winner of my donation during the One Heart,One World giveaway. The irony is that she's from Iowa, where my daughter-in-law is from and with their winters, I'm sure she will put the gloves to good use. Enjoy, Sandi.

New Site
I decided I didn't want supplies to clutter up the etsy shop but didn't want to open another there. So I'm trying out a new site called Bonanzle based in Seattle. The owners are very helpful and we'll see how it goes. It's more of a Craigslist/E-bay combo, not handmade things. You can visit me,
All About The Stuff over there.
