Many etsy folks are now using RME in addition to PayPal. I gave it a deep look and it seems on the up and up. They do not charge transaction fees like payPal. Plus if you sign up before the 15th, they GIVE you $25 in your account. It takes 2 minutes plus there's a referral program where you can get paid for new signers.
To accept this payment method a buyer has to choose "other" as their form of payment. Then the seller will need to send a request for the funds to the buyer. They will have to pay the "invoice" that you send. Just a few simple steps to not have to pay PayPal's transaction fees...defintitely worth it. Check it out.
